HISTORY & PRINCIPLES OF UNICAL MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED
Unical Microfinance Bank Limited was originally incorporated as Atakpa Community Bank Limited in 1993. It later became Unical Community Bank Limited and commenced business on 3rd January, 1998. With the introduction of Microfinance Banking, the Bank successfully converted into Unical Microfinance Bank Limited in 2007. The bank was incorporated as a Private Limited Liability Company.
Unical Microfinance Bank Limited was licensed by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to carry out the business of Microfinance. The Bank is operating satisfactorily and is rendering statutory returns as required. The bank has five (5) Branches and three (3) Cash Centres. The Bank was granted a State Microfinance Bank license in December 12, 2007.
